Home Away From Keyboard is our family scrapbook—a dedicated space to document our adventures before these fleeting years slip by.

With two little ones growing up way too fast, we realized we couldn't wait around for the "perfect, stress-free time" to travel. To make comfortable family trips a reality, we turned to credit card points.

We aren't points gurus. We are still actively learning this process. Every trip we book is a product of our own ongoing research, trial and error, and figuring out how to maximize miles for our family. Because of that, you won't find lectures here on the mathematically "perfect" way to use a single mile. Instead, this is a transparent look at our own learning curve—the wins, the mistakes, and the real-world breakdowns of how we actually fund our adventures.

And while a lot of our travel is made possible by this strategy, not all of our posts will focus strictly on miles and points. At its heart, this is simply our family’s digital scrapbook—a quiet corner for our travel diaries, everyday stories, and the little moments we never want to forget.
